forage, A Delightful Vancouver Restaurant, December 2012

We had a delightful meal in Vancouver this past week at a restaurant called forage on Robson Street.  The Vancouver Sun had given the establishment a shining review a few days earlier and we needed a good place for a family birthday.  It is relatively new to the locavore/ sustainable food scene and was completely charming for our multi-generational event.  We enjoyed a great variety of well-prepared and well-presented foods.  The prawn chowder, game burgers, crab cakes, pancakes and eggs benedict we ate were delicious along with being locally-sourced.  It made for a great day out in the big city and a very happy birthday for me.
