Golden Ears Cheesecrafters Announce New Blue Cheeses, July 2012

This just in from our own local cheese producers: Golden Ears Cheesecrafters have two new blue cheeses.  The “Jersey Blue” is described as strong and creamy whilst the “Velvet Blue” is said to be a crossbreed between soft, Brie-like cheeses and blue cheeses. Sounds yummy.  If either of them are anything like the “Barkham Blue” that we have been feasting on this month then we are even luckier to have Golden Ears Cheesecrafters just around the corner here in Maple Ridge at 22270 – 128th Avenue.  You can also find their cheeses at the Haney Farmers Market on Saturdays (9-2), the Abbotsford Farmers Market on Saturdays (9-1), and the White Rock Farmers Market on Sundays (9-1).
