Haney Farmers Market: Ready for the Holidays

It was feeling very festive today at the Haney Farmers Market at St. Andrews Haney United Church.  The Maple Ridge Choral Society choir was fantastic and put everyone in an upbeat mood for the holidays.  Our latest delightful discovery was Christy’s Confections of Maple Ridge.  She really does make “delicious hand made chocolates” – just like her card says!  Christy told us that she is taking orders for Christmas so you can look her up at www.christysconfections.com.  Also at the Market, we picked up some ground beef from the Brookfield Farm tent and some eggs and carrots from the “Never Say Die” Nursery table.

We will miss the Farmers Market as it takes a break until next spring.  Many thanks to the Market Managers and Coordinators as well as all the vendors and shoppers for making such delightful events happen for our communities.  We are all ready for the holidays and looking forward to next year.
